It’s the most glamour filled local awards in London - the much-anticipated Islington Mini-Oscars are here. It’s your chance to vote for your favourite businesses in Islington. So it’s over to you – the great Islington voting public - to wield your voting power and help your favourite haunts win their category. The categories are: Best Bar, Best Shop, Best Club, Best Restaurant, Best Hairdresser and Best Venue. You’ve got until midnight, Feb 27, 2005 to register your vote here. Below is the selection of nominations. However, if you heartily disagree with the nominations, please add your own suggestion. There’s bound to be some surprises here, as the battle begins for this prestigious local accolade.
